Eric Bartel

Greetings,
I am a high school teacher at Southlake Christian Academy and I am the leader of our Student Missions Fellowship (SMF). Our SMF has as its purpose to Be Christ in our Community and Christ on Campus. Each year we facilitate a week long Mission Week in which we select a particular topic and a specific organization. We then spend the week educating our community, blessing the organization, and hopefully establishing a long lasting partnership or establishing a home grown ministry.
Our topic this year is disabilities and the disabled and how “all have a seat at the kings table.” We are using the story in 2 Samuel 9 as our scripture theme for the week. We have selected Camp Joy as our organization (http://campjoycem.com). Several students in our school serve as counselors at Camp Joy so it was a natural fit for this weeks focus. But, we also will bring in various ministries as well: Special Olympics, Kupenda for the Children, Joni and Friends. The goal is education to bring awareness.
I would love to speak with someone at your organization to see if there is any way we can partner with you in this endeavor. Please contact me at my email above .
God Bless,
Eric Bartel
