2020 Circle of Friends Virtual Event

Given the recent passing of our dear and long time All Belong colleague, Barbara J. Newman, All Belong has decided to cancel this year’s Circle of Friends Virtual Event.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and the community of friends and colleagues who continue to the mourn the loss of our dear Barb during this time.

The decision to cancel was a difficult, and we look forward to gathering again next year, Lord willing, to celebrate our shared mission of faithfully building belonging, a mission that has been shaped and molded by the work and life of Barb herself.

On behalf of the entire All Belong family and our board of directors, we ask for your prayer and continued support as together we build belonging for individuals of all abilities. Thank you for keeping All Belong in your considerations this fall.

All Belong is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Circle of Friends event, which will be hosted as a live, online event on Thursday, October 1, 2020. The Circle of Friends event gatherings have become a hallmark of the All Belong calendar, an opportunity to gather supporters, partner schools and churches, and other key contributors as we celebrate the important work of building community.

As an organization that aspires to build community that includes people of all ability and medical fragilities, the health of our partners and friends is of utmost importance. In light of these uncertain times, we have decided to transition this year’s event to a virtual experience. However, despite the challenges that COVID-19 brings, the mission of All Belong continues, and your partnership is more important than ever.

The importance of our continued work is reflected in this year’s theme: Continuing to Cultivate Community.  Besides the major shifts COVID has created, this last year has brought about great change in our organization, including a name change for us – from the Christian Learning Center to All Belong. Despite the changes that have happened globally, organizationally, and everything in between, we want to remind ourselves and our community of support about the tremendous work that continues, the work of supporting schools and churches as they create belonging.

We would love for you to join us for this 1 hour event!  It is free, and all we ask is for you to RSVP.  We hope to share with you stories of the continued work of All Belong and the impact it has had in communities across the country.  We will also share with you ways you can join this crucial work.
