Anti-Racism Statement

The following is a statement originally published in the Spring of 2020. It was distributed to our partner schools, churches, and other stakeholders at that time. We share it here to publicly express our commitment to anti-racism.

Statement Against Racism: Spring 2020

As an organization focused on ensuring that community reflects the full body of Christ, we have been heartbroken over the last few weeks. The racism inflicting trauma on our Black brothers and sisters, including the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, must stop. We see the unjustice of racism and will continue to work to build communities of faith that reflect God’s love through belonging.

To the people of color who make our communities whole, you belong. We are in this journey with you; we seek to learn from you; and we will seek to foster interdependence with you that reflects the hope of faithful belonging.

Thank you for your partnership.
