While managing your finances to care for your family, you can also include ministries like All Belong in your plans—making a lasting impact in Christ-centered education.
You have options for how and what to give; some gifts cost nothing now, some reduce your taxes, and others let you decide how and when your generosity makes an impact.
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple way to support ministries you care about. By adding funds over time, you can make charitable contributions and receive immediate tax benefits. Your financial services firm or Christian foundation manages the details, while you recommend grants to your favorite nonprofits like All Belong whenever you wish.

Are you at least 70 ½? A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a tax-efficient way to give directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to All Belong. This type of gift reduces your taxable income and ensures students with disabilities experience belonging in Christ-centered schools – a win for everyone!
Have you reached age 73? You are required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA each year. Your contribution to All Belong can count toward your RMD, lowering your taxable income and ensuring that students with disabilities are welcomed and supported in Christ-centered schools.
Did you know your retirement plan may be more valuable when donated to All Belong than when left to your heirs? The SECURE Act 2.0 requires most non-spousal beneficiaries to withdraw the full IRA within 10 years of inheritance. This can lead to a higher tax bill for your loved ones. Donating your IRA to All Belong and leaving other assets with lower tax liabilities to your family can benefit you today and reduce future taxes for your loved ones.
Contact your IRA custodian today to learn more.
Donating appreciated assets, such as stocks, bonds, or real estate, allows you to avoid capital gains taxes and may qualify you for an income tax deduction if you’ve owned the asset for over a year.
Making a donation of securities is simple through All Belong's partnership with Barnabas Foundation:
- You, your brokerage firm, or investment advisor can contact Barnabas Foundation to transfer your shares to All Belong.
- Please notify Jamie Fisher at 616-244-8388 or jfisher@allbelong.org to let us know your gift is coming.
- Once your donation is complete, All Belong will send you a confirmation letter and a tax receipt.
You can also add All Belong as a beneficiary of these assets, helping to reduce estate and inheritance taxes for your loved ones while maximizing the impact of your gift.
Everyone should have a will. Whether you’re 18 or 108, having a plan ensures your house is in order.
Your will allows you to decide who inherits your property, name guardians for minor children, provide a plan for your care, and more. Through your will, you can also leave a percentage or specific amount of your assets to All Belong, ensuring that students with disabilities are included as valued members of the body of Christ for years to come.
For suggested wording to include All Belong in your will, contact Jamie Fisher at 616-244-8388 or jfisher@allbelong.org.
Are your children financially independent?
Is your mortgage paid off?
Do you have other assets to care for your spouse and loved ones?
You may no longer need your life insurance policy. By naming All Belong as a beneficiary, you will ensure that students with disabilities are supported and can succeed in school.
It’s easy to update the beneficiaries of your life insurance policy:
• Contact your insurance company to complete or update your beneficiary designations.
• Name All Belong (Tax ID #38-2619844) as a full, partial, or contingent beneficiary of your life insurance proceeds.
You may also transfer ownership of your policy to All Belong, with any ongoing premium payments donated as a tax-deductible gift. Please note, All Belong cannot pay the premiums on your policy.
Speak with your insurance provider or consult your legal or financial advisor to determine which option is best for you.
