In every Christ-centered school, there are students who excel, students who struggle, and students whose needs don't fit the "typical" mold. Yet the reality is that up to 70% of Christ-centered schools do not enroll students with disabilities, leaving those students and their families feeling unseen and unsupported.
Studies show that 20-25% of the population has a disability. Many of those disabilities aren't visible. They include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, anxiety, and others that don't announce themselves in obvious ways. A school leader might say, "We don't have students like that," and genuinely believe it, while several students in their classrooms are quietly struggling without the support they need.
This creates a gap in who can access Christ-centered education, and it leaves schools without the full diversity of the body of Christ.
As 1 Corinthians 12 reminds us:
“The eye cannot say to the hand, ‘I don’t need you!’ And the head cannot say to the feet, ‘I don’t need you!’... But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.”
- 1 Corinthians 12
Many students who need support to learn and grow are missing from our schools. That can change.
Where Belonging Begins
Building a Culture of Belonging for Every Student
At All Belong, we help schools build inclusive environments where every student with a disability is known, needed, and experiences belonging. And what we've seen, consistently, is that the strategies and resources that help educators support a student with a disability also help many other learners in the classroom succeed.
Inclusion isn't just for a small percentage of students. When schools learn to know each student excellently, everyone benefits.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all programs, we partner with schools to build flexible systems of support that can respond to each student's needs, academically, socially, and spiritually.
A Process, Not a Program
Through individualized student assessments, teacher consultations, and school-wide support planning, All Belong helps schools understand and respond to the unique strengths and needs of each student. We focus on changing school systems, not students, so that every child has a place to belong.
We walk with schools over time. This isn't a quick fix or a single training. It's a process, and we're beside you every step of the way.
We envision a world where every student with a disability is known, needed, and experiences belonging in their Christ-centered school.
