Adult Services, Supports Coordination, and Housing
Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026
6:30–8 p.m.
Featured speaker: Kay Wood
The adult service system can feel complicated when you first begin exploring it. This session will help make the landscape easier to understand by focusing on three important areas: community mental health services, supports coordination, and housing.
Kay Wood will share practical information about accessing services, working with a supports coordinator to develop individualized supports, and considering different housing options for adulthood. She will also introduce Homes Giving Hope, a faith-based supported independent living community.
The goal is not to create one path that works for everyone. It is to help families better understand their options so they can make thoughtful decisions alongside their young adult.
