Navigating the Future

A Series for Parents and Caregivers

Practical guidance for planning life beyond high school

Planning for adulthood after high school can bring a lot of questions, but you don't have to sort through them alone.

Join us for four evenings designed to help parents and caregivers better understand some of the important decisions, services, and opportunities that come with the transition to adulthood. Together, we'll explore adult services and housing, financial planning, legal decision-making, and a strengths-based approach to transition planning.

Each session will offer practical information and useful next steps, along with space to learn from other parents and caregivers who are navigating similar questions. Throughout the series, we will keep the young adult at the center of the process, considering their strengths, gifts, preferences, and hopes for the future.

Attend one session or join us for the full series.

Please note: While much of the information shared in this series is specific to Michigan, many of the topics and planning considerations may still be helpful to families in other states.
