Person-Guided Planning for Life After High School
Thursday, March 25, 2027
6:30–8 p.m.
Featured speaker: Lisa Dekker, M.Ed.
A meaningful transition plan begins by knowing the young adult well: their strengths, interests, preferences, gifts, relationships, and hopes for the future.
In the final session of the series, Lisa Dekker will introduce Person-Guided Planning (PGP), a collaborative process that keeps the young adult at the center of planning for life beyond high school.
Participants will explore how PGP can guide conversations and next steps related to employment, education, community participation, and independent living. Rather than starting with a predetermined program or outcome, the process begins with the person and builds a path that reflects who they are and where they hope to go.
